Google Translate with interpretation. There was an interesting translation in this song. It took me a little while to understand it. "От винта" (Ot vinta) "from propeller" is a term used in aviation. If you are familiar with light planes, you know that when a pilot calls out "CLEAR!", they are about to start the engine. It's short for "Get clear of the propeller!". It appears "OT VINTA!" is the same type of term, short for "Get away from the propeller!". I found a number of cases where this song was titled "Пилот (от винта)", although not on Zhanna Friske's web page. That kind reminds me of a song with the title "Escape", but everybody knows it as "The Pina Colada song". You might have to be a little older to understand that reference. : ) I've always enjoyed aviation. Mankind's oldest dream, realized in the machine age.
